May Procession
Our May procession starts at 2.00pm in the school hall on Friday 23rd May. We will be honouring Our Lady in this traditional way and processing into the Church to crown the statue of Mary. Donations of flowers would be appreciated on Friday morning to decorate her altar. You are very welcome to join us and enjoy this wonderful occasion and celebration.
SAT’s Week (12th – 16th May)
Year 6 pupils have SATs this week so please try and avoid any absences during this time. All KS2 children will be tested in reading, writing, spelling, mental arithmetic, written mathematics and science. Do remember the three E’s again – Encourage, Effort and Early nights!
Children’s Absence
If your child is unable to attend school, for example due to illness or appointments, etc, could you please contact us to let us know. If your child is absent and we have not had a message we will be ringing to check that s/he is safe as you cannot be too careful these days.
Wildthings are having a stall at the PTA Spring Fair and there is also a special ‘Make or Decorate a Family Cake’ competition. Some people call these novelty cakes. Whatever the name, why not enter the competition. Also any home baked cakes or buns would be very much appreciated. So don’t forget – Our Spring Fair this Sunday 11th May after Holy Mass.
