Confirmation

Our Year 3 children will be Confirmed by Bishop Brain on Wednesday 30thArpil and so we need to keep them all in our prayers and minds as we lead up to this important event.

 

Many Thanks ‘Wildthings’ – How can I help?

The ‘Wildthings’ Gang are once again busy planting and sowing seeds to keep the gardens looking good. The children are really enjoying the sessions and Joe and Ali continue to put hours of work into this most important club. Please read the letter going out today on green paper to see what has gone on this year and how you can help.

 

Governors Meetings

The Curriculum Committee meet on Monday 14th April at 3.30pm in the school.

 

Dates for the children’s liturgy  

Dates for May and June will be 6th May, 20th May, 27th May (Pentecost), 3rd June and 17th June. All very welcome - see Ali or Daniel Bath if you need any information.

 

School Council

Our school council meet again on Friday at 1.00 – 2.00 pm for a  training session on how to manage our community responsibility.

 

PTA Spring Fair

We are collecting for the Bottle Tombola this week so any donations would be greatly appreciated. (Any kind of drink in a bottle or can)

 

Bags2school

Don’t forget that the next collection is on the 17th April at 9am so get clearing out and bag it up for us.  Blue bags went out last week when they arrived, but you can also use black bin liners. They need to be in for the Wed 16th if possible. Thank you.

 

Carnival Poster Competition

The entries for the Carnival Poster Competition  will go out again tonight for any pupils to do over the weekend. Details are being sent home tonight for those who have not already taken part.

 

Drama Session

Each class will be taking part in drama sessions next week. W. Orrel from Helen O’Grady Drama Group will be running workshops on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

 

Lunchtime Awards

Last week’s were awarded to: Foundation – Joseph Ruane, Kit Pardoe, Year 1 – Jenna Youll, Year 2 – Kevin Marshall, Year 3 – Josiah Williams, Year 4 – Libby Dearden, Year 5 – Liam Ashworth, Year 6 – Joseph Bath. Well done!
