Confirmation

Our Year 3 children will be confirmed on Wednesday 30th April at 7pm. Remember to keep them all in our prayers and minds as we lead up to this important event.

 Spring Fair

The brownies are having a stall at the PTA Spring Fair and would welcome any donations of general tombola prizes. All the chocolate donated today will also go towards the Spring Fair. Look out for the posters going up to remind you of the date, Sunday 11th May after Holy Mass.

 

May Day Holidays

Next Thursday 1st of May is a school training day when pupils are not in school as the school is used as a Polling Station. Staff will be in as normal. Monday 5th May is also a bank holiday and the school is closed for the day.

 

School Photographs
The photographer will be in school on Monday 28th April. He will start with family groups. If any parents want younger siblings in the photograph, just bring them at 8.30am and they will be done first.

 

Todmorden Touchwood

We are very pleased to have Craig Bradley a poet from the Todmorden Touchwood, working with years 3/4 on Monday morning 30th April and also in the afternoon for years 5/6. They will be creating their very own unique poems from stories and working towards publishing the final results.

 

Special Assembly for Healthy Schools

On Friday 2nd May at 9.15- 9.30 Caroline Naylor will be presenting a small assembly for the whole school about healthy school packed lunches and parents are welcome to join us for this.

There will be a transition meeting following the assembly for Foundation Stage parents on the same theme.
