The School Governors allocate places at the school according to an Admissions Policy which has been approved by the Diocese of Salford and Calderdale Education Authority. Names can be put on the admissions list from birth onwards. After placing your child’s name on the list please inform the school immediately if you move home or leave the area. The full text of this Policy is printed below:
Admissions Policy The school’s Governing Body is the Admissions Authority and is responsible for taking decisions on applications for admissions. The Governing Body has set its planned admissions number at 22. 1. Baptised Roman Catholic children who are resident (*) in the parishes of St Joseph’s, Todmorden or Good Shepherd, Mytholmroyd. Footnotes: a) All applicants willbe considered at the same time and after the closing date for admissions which is set annually by The Children and Young Person's Services of Calderdale Council. b) Each Roman Catholic Applicant will be required to produce a baptismal certificate at the time of application. |
