Extra Curricular Activities

Where possible, subject to the availability of skilled leaders, there are opportunities to acquire new skills and interests. Currently these include clubs for chess, gardening, football, netball, tri-golf, extreme golf, cricket,                  KS1 gymnastics, choir and recorders. There are opportunities to play a musical instrument, where Calderdale Music Service provides tuition, at a cost. Every child in KS2 is learning the violin as part of their music curriculum. Visiting tutors come into school during the year for workshops or performances in such areas as drama, music, sport, science and craft.
