All children at St. Joseph’s are encouraged to be as active as possible in the Parish community. As a Catholic School St. Joseph’s supports the pupils in Year 3 as they follow the Sacramental Programme, which is led by Parish Catechists. The Sacramental Programme builds on the commitment made at your child’s Baptism and helps them to become fuller members in the Parish and Church Community. If you want your child to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation
(confession), Confirmation and Eucharist then you are encouraged to participate in the preparation meetings and discussions before their child is presented for the sacraments. The Sacramental Programme runs from late autumn into the summer term for Year 3 children. Full information on the Programme will be given to you when you child reaches year 3. You can discuss the Programme with Fr. Gallagher, Mrs. Schofield (Parish coordinator), the Head Teacher and class teacher at any time.
