Full Reopening of School

 All year groups

As I'm sure you are aware, we continue to work closely with the Government Guidance and support from both the Academy Trust and our Local Authority to ensure that now that we have reopened fully, we continue to operate in the safest possible way.

There are many additional measures that school have put in place to keep everyone safe.  Amongst these are staggered start and finish times.  Only one parent to drop off/collect and please only arrive at your allocated time.  (Families with more than one sibling to come at the earliest drop off and collection time but come to the site only once)

Acorns and Beech Classes (Nursery and Reception) Start 9:10 Finish 3:15pm

Cedar and Elm Classes (Y1,2&3) Start 9am Finish 3:20pm

Larch and Oak Classes (Y4,5&6) Start 8:50am Finish 3:30pm

To read about our procedures within school including our system of controls, please take a look at our full document here

There is also a guide for parents, to support your child's mental wellbeing available here.

Calderdale Authority have also produced a usual guide regarding when it is necessary to self isolate.  This is available here

We hope you all stay safe and well during this term and we will continue to work together for the benefit and safety of our children.

God Bless.

 Prayer for a Pandemic

May we who are merely inconvenienced remember those whose lives are at stake.

May we who have no risk factors remember those who are most vulnerable.

May we who have the luxury of working from home respect and support those who must choose between preserving their health or serving others.

May we who have flexibility to care for our children when their schools close remember those who have no options.

May we who have to cancel our trips remember those who have no place to go.

May we who are losing money, remember those that have none.

May we who are frustrated with quarantine at home remember those who have no home.

During this time, when we cannot physically wrap our arms around each other, let us each find ways to be the loving embrace of humanity to our neighbours.

Be aware.  Be accepting.  Be supportive.  Be kind.
