This morning, we were thrilled to welcome families to our Community Forest School session, open to children who will be starting school in September 2026.

The children had a wonderful time exploring our woodland area and taking part in a range of exciting outdoor activities. They enjoyed leaf printing, weaving, foraging for leaves, and mud printing, as well as plenty of time to play, discover, and create in nature.

Our Forest School leaders encouraged the children to use their imagination, work together, and embrace the natural world around them. It was lovely to see so many smiles as they proudly shared their creations and made new friends along the way.

Parents and carers also had the chance to chat with staff, find out more about our Forest School approach, and see how we support children to learn, grow, and gain confidence through hands-on experiences.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us — it was a fantastic morning, and we can’t wait to welcome our future pupils back for more outdoor adventures soon!
