Year 3 Multi-Skills

Year 3 Shine at Multi-Skills Event

Our Year 3 children recently enjoyed a fantastic day at the Multi-Skills event held at Todmorden Sports Centre. The event brought together pupils from a number of local schools, giving our children the opportunity to challenge themselves, try new activities, and celebrate the importance of staying active.

Throughout the morning, the children took part in a wide variety of sporting challenges designed to develop coordination, balance, agility, and teamwork. From relay races and jumping activities to throwing challenges and team games, every child gave their absolute best. It was wonderful to see them encouraging one another, sharing in each other’s successes, and showing real determination to improve with every attempt.

Their enthusiasm and positive attitude shone through from start to finish, and we were incredibly proud of the way they represented our school. All of their hard work led to a brilliant result, with the team securing an impressive second place overall—an achievement they should feel very proud of.

Well done to all of our Year 3 pupils for their effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship. A big thank you also goes out to the staff and organisers at Todmorden Sports Centre for providing such a supportive and engaging event. We’re already looking forward to the next opportunity to celebrate our pupils’ sporting success!
