Ten of our Year 5/6 pupils proudly represented St Joseph’s at a recent NFL tournament held at The Prairie in Burnley.

Wearing our brand-new sports kit for the first time, the team showed fantastic determination and teamwork throughout the competition. Despite challenging weather conditions, they played exceptionally well and were thrilled to finish as runners-up in the final.

The children were a credit to the school and true ambassadors for St Joseph’s, demonstrating resilience, sportsmanship and great team spirit.

A special thank you goes to James from Burnley FC in the Community for delivering the coaching sessions and preparing the team so well for the tournament.
