Turning concern into action

Our Mini Vinnies have started off their new role at St. Joseph's by rallying together to support a wonderful cause – the MacMillan Coffee Morning. Known for their dedication to helping others, this enthusiastic group of young volunteers has decided to swap their usual initiatives for a morning of cake, coffee, and community spirit. 

The school hall was transformed into a bustling café brimming with tempting treats, all generously contributed by parents, staff, and local businesses. From chocolate cakes to scones, there was something to please every palate. 

As the cheerful chatter filled the room, attendees enjoyed catching up over a cuppa while contributing to a fantastic cause. It was a heartwarming sight, a perfect blend of fun and philanthropy. Thanks to the efforts of Mini Vinnies, the coffee morning raised an impressive sum for MacMillan Cancer Support, showing that even the youngest members of the community can make a big difference!
